Alex hails from Gisborne and completed of her schooling here before studying law at Victoria University of Wellington. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Gisborne High Court in 2020 and has been practising in her hometown ever since.
Alex practices in a range of property law areas such as residential and commercial sales and purchases, refinancing, commercial leases, and retirement village and rest home occupation right agreements. She particularly enjoys guiding first-home buyers through the entire purchase process, from making their first offer through to picking up the keys on settlement day.
Her expertise also extends to asset protection and estate planning including trusts, wills, and enduring powers of attorney. Alex also practices in estate administration including probate and letters of intestacy and can assist executors and administrators with their roles in the estate administration process.
